Increased safety

Safety and hi-viz features (?)Some of our balance bikes are equipped with reflective elements to ensure safe visibility in fog, rain, and overcast weather. You’ll find them not only on the sidewalls of the tires, but also on the front of the handlebar cover – so your child can’t be overlooked. The bikes also feature brake levers with a smooth action and strong braking power, requiring minimal effort.

Which frame to choose (?)The frame material affects the overall weight of the balance bike, range of use and its price. Aluminium is light, which is appreciated not only by the children but also the mums who often end up carrying the bike. Steel is a little heavier, but cheaper.

Brake

Handlebar turning limiter: yes or no (?)Handlebar turning limiters define a safe steering angle. They prevent the front wheel from turning into a position that could suddenly block movement, cause the balance bike to slip out from under the rider, or—in the worst case—make the handlebars jab into the child’s stomach.

Kids’ bikes are back at Yedoo – in a whole new form! After years of focusing mainly on balance bikes and scooters, we are returning with a modern line of children’s bikes: Koolo 16 and 20. In 2026, the range will expand to include a 14-inch model for the youngest riders and later also Koolo 24.
