For riding on roads and for riding in the dark, you must retrofit the bike with safety features (lights, reflectors, etc.) in accordance with the regulations in force in your country. Follow the rules of the road, the principles of safe driving and wear personal protective equipment (helmet, cycling gloves, knee and elbow protectors, sturdy shoes, etc.). Technical and construction features

A lightweight aluminium frame built to last

At the heart of the Koolo is a lightweight yet durable aluminium frame. To keep the bike as light as possible, the handlebars, stem, wheel hubs, and brake levers are also made of aluminium.

Reliable brakes and ergonomic levers

The reliable Tektro V-brakes respond quickly and provide smooth, safe braking.

The aluminium short-reach levers fit perfectly in children’s hands. Their distance from the handlebars can be adjusted to suit any hand size and any age.

Tuned geometry

Hop on? Thanks to the lowered top tube, no problem at all.

The bike’s geometry also encourages a natural, upright riding position, giving kids a clear view of the road ahead so nothing catches them by surprise.

With a wide range of seat height adjustment — as well as adjustable handlebar height and angle — the bike grows together with the child and stays a loyal riding companion for many years.
