Every child is different, one can learn riding a scooter right away, some others need a little time to obtain the necessary assurance. If the scooter is light enough, its size corresponds to the child´s age and the footboard height does not overstress the standing leg, nothing prevents the children from enjoying pleasure of riding.

We don’t make scooters in order to stand still. We are constantly on the move, keeping step with the advance of technology. After almost twenty years of making scooters, we are here because we love to take the less-travelled roads. In the same way that technology changes, the whole of Yedoo changes as well.

In the UK scootering is not a well known leisure activity. People are used to children riding small wheeled scooters so when last summer Andulka Safarova from our Yedoo Team travelled through the country on her scooter everyone was curious about a big wheeled machine.

The Czech Republic is a land of scooters. Not only the popular Czech puppet Hurvínek or Werich’s wise Zdenička (Queen Scooter the First), but also writer Josef Čapek or former President Václav Havel were scooter fans. Moreover, the Czech Republic ranks among the world’s biggest producers of scooters for adults. The producers follow the rich tradition, which Jakub Bostl tries to explore and describe. His collection comprises 50 models and he would like to build a museum for these vehicles in future.

The arid, parched and dreary territory does not evoke the idea of the Canadian landscape boasting endless forests, Rocky Mountains and breathtaking waterfalls. Average tourists rarely visit the Badlands.

Wooden Scooter YEDOO 1913

Jakub Bostl, the leading design engineer of Yedoo brand, built a unique wooden scooter at the occasion of scooter competition that took place in tribute to 100 years anniversary of Tour de France. This model, which he called Yedoo 1913, was made of plywood from a transportation cart in only three evenings.
